Why it fits move-and-hold systems
The controller and Piezo LEGS® stage combination is particularly relevant where the application moves to a defined point and then remains static. The stage can maintain its mechanically held position without continuous motor power, helping to limit stationary-state heat generation around sensitive optical or measurement components.
Host control concept
The intended user experience is command-based control from a host computer. The host sends motion and status commands to the controller, the controller drives the stage, and the optical encoder closes the position loop. Final protocol, connector, command-set and interface documentation must follow the approved PiezoMotor controller design.
How to configure this controller
- Count the controlled stage axes in the intended system.
- Confirm every stage motor and encoder combination.
- Confirm the required stage-cable quantity and length.
- Confirm the approved host interface and command documentation.
- Define power accessories and request the complete configured quotation.
