The goniometric family uses one landing page for two virtual rotation-centre heights. The customer selects the model whose 70.5 mm or 95.5 mm centre best matches the optical axis, sample point or measurement point in the instrument.

The defined virtual rotation centre allows angular alignment with less unwanted translation at the point of interest than a simple base-mounted pivot. Direct Piezo LEGS® actuation avoids geared backlash, while the optical scale provides 0.2 arcsecond resolution for closed-loop tilt correction.
