Overcoming the Physical Limits of Semiconductor Manufacturing
As semiconductor structures become more complex and process tolerances continue to tighten, manufacturing equipment must deliver increasingly precise, stable and reliable motion. Conventional motion technologies can be challenged by requirements such as sub-nanometer positioning, vacuum operation, thermal stability and non-magnetic motion in magnetically sensitive environments.
Addressing these engineering challenges requires close collaboration across the semiconductor value chain. From technology and component providers to equipment manufacturers, research institutions and semiconductor manufacturers.
In this 45-minute technical webinar, PiezoMotor brings together voices from across the industry, including Nearfield Instruments, researchers from Uppsala University, and market analysts from Business Sweden.
The session is intended to be an open technical discussion rather than a conventional product presentation. The speakers will examine the increasingly demanding motion requirements within semiconductor equipment, discuss general system-integration challenges and explore the science behind piezoelectric motion technology in modern semiconductor manufacturing environments.
